It can also be used to eliminate standby power consumption on TVs, PlayStations, and similar devices, or to increase safety by automatically turning off the iron after a few minutes. If you just want to use the device to monitor the power consumption of appliances or similar, it is also possible to set a PIN code on Shelly Plug S to prevent accidental shutdown through the app. Shelly Plug S is equipped with a powerful LED ring on the front, which can visualize the amount of current energy consumption by switching between green, yellow, and red colors.
